While working two part-time jobs in 2003, I wondered what I could do to make some extra money.  The thought of pooper scooping sounded like the perfect answer.  "What could be better than being outside, getting some exercise, and playing with dogs all day", I thought.  Having a relationship with a local landscaping company, I quickly obtained my first couple of accounts, and I was on my way.  Now, fourteen years later, it has become my full time passion.

I've made many furry friends on my weekly routes that anxiously await my visit.   I'm not sure if it's because they know I'll give them pets, throw the ball for them, or have a pocket full of treats.  It's probably the treats!  But either way, they are happy to see me. The feeling is mutual, and I look forward to having them out in their yards with me, while I'm scooping. In many ways, I feel like they are "my dogs" too.

When things get busy (usually in the spring), or I take a vacation, I have wonderful helpers....Julie and Colleen, who share the same love of dogs that I have, that will gladly step in and doing the cleaning.   I'm very lucky to be able to say "I love my job"!
